The National Center for Natural Products Research (NCNPR) within the School of Pharmacy at The University of Mississippi is pleased to announce a conference on Quality and Safety Issues Related to Botanicals. The Conference was held from April 30th through May 3rd 2007 at the University of Mississippi. The conference was supported by a cooperative agreement between the NCNPR and the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) along with Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica/CAS, China and The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR - India). During the opening ceremonies of this conference the NCNPR and SIMM/CAS announced the formation of the SINO-US TCM Research Center.
