The fourth workshop entitled "International Conference Quality and Safety Issues Related to Botanicals" was held on August 15-18th, 2005 at Oxford, MS. This meeting was co-sponsored with the International Society for Horticultural Sciences (ISHS) and covered the topics of cultivation, collection, post harvest, authentication, identification and purity of botanicals and how the relate to establishing safety and quality products as well as toxicological methods for safety assessment of botanicals.
